Willowweave Customization
Willowweave's design is intended so that each will be unique in a way that is beyond the wearer's specific measurements — how her ribs intertwine, the openness of the weave, and how many ribs envelop the wearer. After you order, we will discuss your commission and based on your supplied measurements, what forms your Willowweave can take.
For the ring, the woven design best echos the aesthetic but solid rings are also available if you prefer.
While Willowweave is offered in titanium, I feel steel's timeless character best compliments her. Even in steel, Willowweave is a light device. The pictured 95 mm render weighs only 110 g. A similarly sized, more traditional ring-and-bars device weighs 160 g.
Willowweave is only offered with security screws. I feel there is no way to accommodate a barrel lock without severely compromising on her design.
Once ordered, we will start the collaborative process of designing your Willowweave. Measurements will be verified and if anything feels off, I will reach out and confirm. High quality renders will be made available for your approval and test cages will be available for purchase. These cages can be as simple as PLA-prints that are mainly intended so you can hold her in your hand or more robust nylon-prints with a barrel lock junction that will allow long-term wear.
