Bespoke Cage Design — Request & Queue Placement

Bespoke Cage Design — Request & Queue Placement

I am currently operating at full design capacity.

Because each bespoke project requires significant one-on-one planning and design, I can only accept a small number of new commissions at a time. Rather than closing the service entirely, this listing now functions as a design request and queue placement.

Purchasing this item does not purchase a design.
It places you in line and opens a conversation.

What the $5 does

Your purchase reserves a position in my design queue and begins the consultation process. After purchase I will contact you to discuss:

• your goals
• design ideas or inspirations
• constraints or preferences
• whether the concept is feasible for me to execute

Not every concept is something I am capable of building — and part of this process is determining that together before anyone commits to a full commission.

What happens next

After we talk, one of three things will occur:

  1. We proceed — I will provide a formal quote and best-estimate timeline for the full bespoke design.
  2. We refine — the idea may be adjusted into something achievable.
  3. We decline — if the project isn’t a good fit for my capabilities or workflow.

The $5 fee is a consultation/queue placement fee and is credited toward the final design quote if we move forward.

Important expectations

This is not a catalog device resized to measurements. A bespoke design is a collaborative process and can involve multiple iterations and discussion before a final concept is reached.

Because I am a single designer and fabricator, response times and start dates depend on my current workload. Being in the queue guarantees a conversation — not immediate project start.
